San Francisco, 1905

I recently heard that this famous video had made its way to TouTube – this is the “8 minute trip down Market Street”. It is quite literally, someone shooting film all the way down Market Street in San Francisco on the train tracks. The most interesting thing about this is that it was done in 1905, shortly before the great 1906 quake and fire which decimated the city. Please ignore the cheesy music.
