PS3 and PSP talk to each other

Gizmodo has a video of the PSP being used to control the PS3. Seems like a very cool idea. The only bummer to me is that you can’t play back what is in the optical drive. I’d love to load a DVD or BD movie into the PS3 and then be able to watch it on my PSP (in bed, say). Apparently you can play movies and music off the hard drive, but I don’t expect to be loading a lot of material on there unless it is something specifically downloaded from the online store. So… dang!
Love the idea though. Very cool tech. Now, can I play games on my PS3 from my PSP? 😉
