Beautiful Vancouver

I’m in Vancouver again! Heading back this evening. Last night I met up with a group of folks from Rockstar-Vancouver and EA Canada, and we had a great meal at the Sandbar on Granville Island. Um, okay, yeah, well, that previous picture from my last trip is also from that restaurant. It was so good that I had to go back!!

Anyway, I’m totally bummed out. I just visited the Starbucks next to my hotel, and they don’t seem to have the really amazing blueberry scones that they used to have. It used to be that you could ONLY get these scones in Canada – they were round, moist, delicious. Contrast them to the dry triangles in the U.S… yugg. I couldn’t find them in Europe or Japan either, and believe me, I looked!
They have triangle scones here now as well, and I will admit they were a little moister and tastier than those in the U.S., but they weren’t quite what I was lusting after. Ah well, sigh. Maybe I should write a letter to Starbucks. Fortunately I have a few friends who work there. 🙂
